A trip down memory lane is in the works in Raleigh for next month, allowing area adults the opportunity to enjoy time outside doing their favorite childhood activities.
The 4th Annual Adult Recess Festival will be coming to Raleigh soon, with organizers announcing the official date and host site for a memorable day outdoors. The four-day event will be filled with creative and active activities, with something for everyone to enjoy. The organizer, Let’s Get Social Raleigh, hopes to provide a setting where participants can have fun and make meaningful connections.
The gathering will double as a wellness retreat, with previous years attracting visitors from across the nation and the Caribbean. The opening ceremony will feature music from DJ Booth followed by a dance party. Organizers can lean on banner printing to provide a hearty welcome to participants while promoting the event and its sponsors to passersby.
Games will include co-ed basketball, flag football, hopscotch, volleyball, freeze tag, line dancing, and a tug-of-war. Food trucks will be at the host site to provide snacks, meals, and hydrating beverages to participants. No kids will be allowed at the festival, and guests are asked to wear comfortable athletic clothing.
The Buffaloe Road Athletic Park in Raleigh will host the adult recess. It’s set for Saturday, April 25th, starting at 1:00 PM. General admission tickets start at $24.86 per person online.
