An upcoming event for fans of fantasy, science fiction, cosplay, and more will give them a chance to gather and celebrate the things they love.
GalaxyCon Raleigh will take over the Raleigh Convention Center for four days, where fans can meet some of their favorite artists, listen to panel discussions, and enjoy their favorite fandom.
Many people attend conventions to meet the talented actors behind their favorite characters, and GalaxyCon has major stars on the guestlist. These include William Shatner, who played the iconic Captain James T. Kirk in the original “Star Trek” series and several of the subsequent films, as well as starring in “T.J. Hooker” and “Boston Legal”; and Barry Bostwick, perhaps best known for his work as the clueless Brad Majors in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” Not all the celebrities will attend all four days, so fans should plan accordingly.
Fans can look forward to hearing from talented voice actors, as well as the writers, artists, and creators of their favorite comic Books and graphic novels.
Vendors and exhibitors will set up displays in the Exhibit Hall, offering everything from steampunk jewelry to magic wands, and cosplayers will enjoy meeting one another and competing in Cosplay Competitions. Highly skilled tattoo artists will take part in the fun, and adults-only After Dark Attractions are planned.
GalaxyCon is scheduled for July 23 to 26. Organizers of this kind of event can support it by creating advertisements using poster printing.
