Four new firms on board with sustainability initiative

Three companies and a federal agency have become the newest members of the Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster (RTCC), which is located in Research Triangle Park (RTP).

The news was confirmed via a press release from RTCC from earlier this month. The organizations have joined because each of them provides expertise and innovative technologies that will enhance the Cleantech ecosystem of the region. Lee Anne Nance, managing director of the RTCC, says the group is “delighted” that the four are investing in an organization that is working to create economic opportunity for the Raleigh region, as well as finding sustainable solutions for global problems.

The new additions to the RTCC include the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which runs the biggest R&D facility in RTP. The three others are Hoffman Building Technologies, Mobix Inc., and KoolBridge Solar, Inc. Hoffman provides technologies such as filtration systems, ventilation systems, and building automation. Mobix offers smart metering solutions for gas, electric, and water companies, while KoolBridge develops innovative products for solar power system.

The RTCC is comprised of government, nonprofit, academic, and business leaders who are working to help transition the region away from fossil fuels and into a clean technology environment.

The four organizations could work with business card printing companies to make sure their employees have cards that reflect their new association.
