Owners Lee Tripi, an interior designer, and Bob Drake, a lighting specialist, recently opened the Trig Modern - a furnishings store with new concepts in home design in the heart of downtown Raleigh. They are most likely using business card printing so that cards can be distributed throughout the community and make homeowners aware of the newly opened store.
Featured in the store are a modern showroom for custom kitchens and bathrooms, new and vintage home furnishings with modern designs, original art and objects, and modern lighting concepts.
According to Tripi, the concept of the store is to present a portrait of home furnishing that is less formal and conventional, as people now tend to have homes that are filled with a variety of styles from the hand-me-down lamp from Grandma to the modern leather sofa. The clientele in the Raleigh and surrounding area is extremely diverse and is looking for home furnishings that are suitably varied.
Trig Modern will also be the home for the custom label designs of Tripi, as well as several domestic and foreign cabinet fabricators, including the kitchen cabinetry of Berloni, which may appear to be expensive but are affordable as they are actually produced in an assembly-line fashion.
The store will also be very involved in the community with regard to local arts. There are objects and furnishings that local artisans and artists have created in the showroom and the store has already participated in the gallery walk held by Raleigh on the first Friday of every month.
