A fall day can be tailor made for family fun, and thanks to a Raleigh event planned for Dorothea Dix Park, city residents will be enjoying this experience.

At least 50 food trucks will be rolling in for the day, and a makers’ market with over 100 stalls and tables will be set up to browse through. North Carolina craft beers and ciders will be flowing so the adults in the crowd can do some taste testing, and to help mark Fire Prevention Week, Raleigh Fire will be on hand. Live music will provide a festive backdrop, and the function will run for seven hours. Before they head home, all attendees can choose a gourd from the onsite pumpkin patch.
