Raleigh welcomes networking wedding planner

Raleigh brides who need to find vendors to help with their wedding plans will have a new option for locating these vital assets.

Luxe Bridal Exchange, which is a networking platform, has just launched operations in Raleigh and is getting ready for its first event. The platform will allow wedding vendors and brides to connect. Luxe is hoping to create three different sorts of events to show how the network operates.

For a $250 fee, vendors can join the network for a period of three months. For this, they will get access to advertising, both online and at the various events Luxe is setting up this month. Three vendors have thus far taken advantage of this opportunity.

The planned events are the ‘Exchange’, the ‘Pop Up Shop’, and the ‘Workshop’. Brides can attend the Exchange for free and, while there, they can meet with wedding professionals to discuss concepts and ideas. The Pop Up Shop is a sale of bridal gowns on consignment, and the Workshop brings wedding consultants and brides together to work on projects they do themselves.

The first event is an Exchange, which is slated for Raleigh's Mosaic Wine Lounge tomorrow, October 23, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Luxe could work with brochure printers to create a booklet for distribution for free in racks throughout Raleigh, concentrating on bridal shops, restaurants, and similar venues.
