This March, the Raleigh Convention Center will be celebrating the role women play in the world, and it will mark International Women’s Day with learning and other fun.
The venue will be hosting an activity that will be all about empowering women and helping them form a connection with other ladies both locally and globally. It will put female entrepreneurs in the spotlight, and it will showcase the positive impact their companies have made.
The day will offer the opportunity to sit in on remarks from guest speakers who will be addressing a variety of topics. The vendor floor will have at least 60 businesses represented, and there will also be the chance for the attendees to learn about starting their own business and what types of assistance are out there that may help. Prize draws and friendly competitions are in the works, and parking will be free.
There may still be room for more enterprises to join the fun, and the planners want to include as many women owned companies as they can.
