Raleigh plans first Summer Festival

Summer is a time for family fun, and Raleigh will have lots of excitement on tap for those who attend its new Summer Festival.

This free event is open to all ages, and one of its goals is to help build a strong sense of community. There will be fun for the kids as well as activities for adults only, and Raleigh City Plaza will be the location for this special event.

The organizers of the day have put together a schedule of offerings that will celebrate all things summer. There will be ice cream and other cold treats available, and other food may be purchased on site as well. The adults in the crowd can treat themselves to some beer and wine samples, and live music will have everyone moving to the beat. Fido can get in on the fun by entering the Cutest Dog contest, while the human guests can show off their best vacation outfit. A truck rodeo is also in the works.

A community festival provides an opportunity for neighbors to meet and enjoy one another’s company. A banner printing company can supply signage as well as a variety of decor options.

This day of fun in the sun for Raleigh residents will take place on July 13th. The festivities are scheduled to start at 11:00 am.
