The Well Fed Community Garden will hold a painting session in July. Beginners and experts are welcome to join and create nature-inspired paintings together.
Annelies M. Gentile, an artist and leadership coach from Conduit for Change, will lead the class. Gentile and her company are dedicated to bringing about positive life change and helping people meet their life goals. Through the class, Gentile will try to build creativity and a sense of community for everyone participating.
Entrants will learn about the basics of painting and how creativity impacts our lives and aids in reducing stress. Entrants to events like this can also form new connections with other participants, something which can be better facilitated with business card printing.
Participants will work with different painting mediums like oil and acrylic. The class will provide all materials needed, but participants are free to bring their supplies. Organizers also recommend bringing sunscreen and a hat, as the class will happen outdoors. Also, anyone with an iPad can attempt a digital painting.
Lunch will be provided by the event organizers. The meal will feature vegetarian ingredients sourced from the garden, and gluten-free options will be made available.
The event will take place on July 31st from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Tickets are $48 for general admission and $24 for children. The garden is located at 1321 Athens Drive.
