Raleigh garden club toasts its 75th year

A garden club that calls Raleigh home will celebrate the end of another season by hosting a series of special events.

Members of Oakwood Garden Club will be welcoming the community for its Autumn teas, and they will make its 75th anniversary. Tickets are expected to sell out well ahead of time, and priority reservations will be given to those who have previously attended a club event.

The gatherings are scheduled for Tucker House, and the tea and other refreshments will be served on vintage China. Tin Roof Teas will provide the sips while the food will be prepared by area eateries. Everyone is asked to arrive 15 minutes ahead of time so they can find their seats, and tickets are being sold by the table.

To add even more fun to the occasion, a makers’ market has been organized for the Saturday, and it will be popping up on the grounds of the venue. This will not be ticketed, and the public is encouraged to drop by.

A special affair may call for personalized printing services. Stationery printers will be happy to help by providing everything from table cards to Invitations that have been individually printed and addressed using variable line data printing technology.

The dates for the Oakwood Garden Club Autumn Tea will be October 4th and October 5th,and there are different seating times planned. Tickets can be reserved by visiting its Eventbrite listing.
