A Raleigh-based garden venue is offering a special guided tour this spring for people interested in nature.
The Juniper Level Botanic Garden is a local garden appreciated by plant enthusiasts from North Carolina and beyond. This April, the Garden’s operators are inviting the public to visit for an hour-long guided tour.
The tour is designed to give anyone interested in getting more in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of the Gardens and its various plants. It will also offer the chance for visitors to get up close to various areas of the garden all while going over any questions and new developments.
The Gardens span 28 acres and are situated 12 miles south of downtown Raleigh. With over 27,000 distinct species that include native perennials, exotic plants, and rare botanical treasures, the Garden has been credited with showing nature's boundless diversity. Here, visitors will also encounter various collections of trees and shrubs, many of which are found exclusively within these grounds.
The tour is free to members of the Garden, but will cost $25.00 to non-members. The money brought about by these fees is set to be invested back into the gardens. Such unique and special seasonal events can be promoted throughout the community with poster printing.
The April Showcase Garden Tour at the Juniper Level Botanic Garden will take place on April 3, from 10am to 11am.
