Raleigh class to craft terrific terrariums

Terrariums provide a way for people to grow tropical and other plants under glass in their own home, and a Raleigh workshop will soon be preparing these mini plantings.

3 Cubs Candles and Crafts’ Kayla Albertson will be teaching the ins and outs of preparing a terrarium during a hands-on event. All of the materials for the project will be supplied to the participants, and tickets for the experience start at $42.03.

The facilitator will walk participants through the process of preparing their terrarium and installing the plants, and they will provide tips for its continuing care. Everyone will receive a complimentary drink to enjoy while they garden. Street parking will be free, and at the end of the class, there will be time allotted for the ticketholders to do some personal shopping on site and get to know their fellow plant enthusiasts. The runtime for the session is one and half hours.

A crafting or other class that teaches new skills in a relaxed and fun environment may be popular. Flyer printing services for a small business can be sourced from a local printer to help drum up interest.

This easy introduction to the art and science of creating a thriving terrarium will begin at 6:30 pm on Thursday, May 16. It will be on offer at 15 West Hargett Street.
