Crocheting is a hobby that can be enjoyed throughout a person’s lifetime, and both new and veteran crafters are welcome to be part of a Raleigh area workshop that will focus on the fundamentals.
The Cookies and Crochet workshop will combine learning a new craft with enjoying snacks and the company of others. It will be held at The Cookie People in West Raleigh, and tickets to participate are $30.00 each.
Suzy Hasanin will be the facilitator for the session, and she will teach the basic crochet stitches as well as how to read a pattern. More experienced members of the group can build on their current skillset, and they will be able to pick up some new techniques and suggestions for future projects. Each ticketholder will receive a ball of yarn as well as a crochet hook to work with, and a beverage and two large specialty cookies are also included in the registration fee.
Learning a new skill may be an enjoyable experience, especially as part of a larger group. A flyer printing company can offer an assortment of options for promoting an event.
Raleigh residents who would like to get started with crocheting are encouraged to register for this hands-on workshop, which will be held on Thursday, July 25. It is scheduled for 2237 Avent Ferry Road.
