The Four Points by Sheraton Raleigh North hotel in Raleigh is undergoing a renovation worth millions of dollars.
The renovation is expected to be finished by January, 2017, when the PM Hotel Group will take over the hotel’s operation. The renovation includes refurbishing all the public spaces, meeting rooms, and guest rooms.
PM Hotel Group’s president, Joseph Bojanowski, said that after the renovation, the hotel will again be like new, and on its way to becoming the place where discerning travelers to the region will want to stay. He noted that Raleigh is in the Research Triangle, a center for biological research and technology, with many vibrant young companies here. Raleigh is also a leisure destination and enjoy a lively retail sector, said Bojanowski.
The hotel is near downtown Raleigh, and consequently close to attractions such as the capital building, Marsh Creek Park, the Adventure Landing Theme Park, and the Raleigh-Durham International Airport. The renovations will align this hotel with others under the Four Points by Sheraton umbrella by adding an indoor pool, a fitness center, and a restaurant. It will also provide businesses 2,200 square feet of meeting space, Wi-Fi throughout the building, and local and seasonal food and drink.
