The Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh will host a performance by the band Nine Inch Nails this April. This performance will be a part of the group's first US tour since 2018.
Nine Inch Nails is an industrial rock group that first formed in Cleveland, Ohio in 1988. The band usually consists of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, accompanied by a line-up of touring musicians.
A wide variety of other artists have influenced the band's sound. Four of the band's largest ones are Gary Numan, The Clash, Skinny Puppy, and Ministry. Others include Joy Division, Devo, Queen, Depeche Mode, and U2.
Throughout the course of their career, the band has gained many achievements. Their 14 albums have sold a total of 20 million Copies. They have won two Grammy awards and were nominated for 13. Reznor was named as one of the most influential people by Time Magazine in 1997. The band was also inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.
