Snoop Dogg, one of the biggest artists in music today, is bringing his ‘I Wanna Thank Me’ tour to Raleigh. Snoop got his start in music in 1992, when Dr. Dre featured him on Dre's “Deep Cover,” and later on “The Chronic.” The Doctor's solo debut album. From there, Snoop has gone on to sell more than 35 million albums throughout the world, and 23 million in the U.S.
In his career, Snoop has released 17 compilation albums, 17 studio albums, 127 singles, and three EPs. He has also appeared in numerous feature films and television shows, including “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,” and “The Simpsons.”
A review on Beatroute of one of Snoop Dogg's live performances calls him “hip hop's number one acrobat,” and says that he has maintained the following he developed early in his career, and has also attracted a number of new fans. The concert illustrated a truth about the artist:
“the Doggfather holds a place in both the hearts of nostalgia chasers and kids alike. The simplicity of the stage show, coupled with the crowd gusto, speaks to Snoop's esteemed place in the music industry . . .”
Snoop Dogg appears at The Ritz in Raleigh at 8:00 pm on December 19. Poster printing is frequently used to create advertising when events like this are scheduled.
