Festival to bring hours of stories to Raleigh

Raleigh will hold the Third Annual Old North State Storytelling Festival next month. Guests can attend the event in person or online.

The festival will have national and local storytellers ready to tell the tales they have crafted. Some names to expect include Milbre Burch (a Grammy-nominated artist) and Willa Brigham (a two-time Emmy winner). Guests can choose to view the individual showcases, or they can purchase a ticket for the whole event. Overall, there will be four different showcases, all taking place over the course of two days. Events like these are often supported with brochure printing, so guests can expect more information on the program once the event day approaches.

For those attending in-person, proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 document is needed to enter the venue. As for those planning to watch the festival online, organizers will prepare a chaptered recording after the event ends.

The Storytelling Festival will take place on November 5 and 6. It will happen at the Cary Theater located at 122 East Chatham Street. The online version of the show will be available on November 15, and anyone who purchases it will have a month to view it. Tickets for the full festival are $50 for the in-person option and $35 for the virtual option, while tickets for individual showcases are $15.
