Huntersville residents seeking to learn about or benefit from sound therapy will want to keep an open schedule next month, as sound therapy sessions are coming to the region.
The Vibrational Academy of Sound Therapy is planning a certification course for Huntersville residents in a few weeks. Dr. Dean Telano will lead the course. Telano states that the training courses are designed to be radiant, magical, and healing. Each session will teach participants about the powers of sound, vibration, and resonance, and their healing properties.
Dr. Telano's techniques concentrate on delivering sound as a method of assisting with healing, and mental and physical restoration. Much of the course will focus on using the gong to enhance the healing process through soundwaves. Brochure printing is an effective way to assist students with learning and remembering different healing techniques at such events.
Other instruments participants will learn to use include Tibetan singing bowls. Those in the course will walk away from its conclusion with a certificate of completion and hands-on experience of providing sound therapy with the instruments used.
The Kind Karma Yoga and Holistic Center will host the course on the weekend of June 8 and 9. The opening session will begin at 10:00 AM and end at 6:00 PM. Registration and certification cost $255, and interested parties can register online.
