Children and young teens across Huntersville have begun preparing their costumes for a Halloween-themed event taking place in October. This one-day festival is specifically designed for younger participants, and a handful of fun activities have been confirmed.
The North County Regional Library has confirmed that it will be hosting their annual Tween Halloween Costume Party. This celebration is open to anyone between the ages of 9 and 12 years. One of the main attractions involves a costume contest. Winners will be recognized for the scariest, funniest, and most original homemade costumes.
In addition to this competition, attendees are provided with plenty of other ways to enjoy the afternoon. These include music, games associated with Halloween themes, and simply connecting with friends in a welcoming atmosphere. Organizers also claim that light refreshments will be made available to all guests.
Events celebrating specific holidays will often choose marketing techniques capable of reflecting the season in question. For instance, stakeholders may choose to partner with local firms able to incorporate Halloween into their standard flyer printing services. Other practical solutions include keeping locals updated with the help of social media pages and placing pamphlets around town.
The Huntersville Tween Halloween Costume Party is being held on Saturday, October 10th from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. This event will take place within the North County Regional Library located at 16500 Holly Crest Lane. While free to attend, registration is required.
