Students from throughout Huntersville are gearing up for an interactive technology-related event taking place in August. This exhibition will be placing a particular focus on robotics, and how these innovations are set to change the world around us.
The Robot Block Party @ Waymer is primarily associated with STEM industries. STEM is an acronym referring to science, technology, engineering, and math. While most attendees are expected to be students, organizers have noted that adults are welcome to attend.
This seminar will also provide a hands-on means for guests to interact with the latest innovations. A series of robots will be present, and attendees can control these with the help of experienced engineers. High school students from across Huntersville are also expected to showcase their creations within a friendly, supportive environment.
Seminars associated with science and technology can often represent powerful networking opportunities for guests. For instance, attendees may choose to leverage the services of a business card printing company to hand out contact details, or to exchange email addresses with mentors who are present. The main intention is to take advantage of opportunities to form contacts within highly interactive settings.
The Robot Block Party is being presented by Queen City Robotics Alliance, and is taking place on Saturday, August 15th. Doors open at 1:30 PM, and the event concludes at 3:30 PM. It will be held within the David B. Waymer Recreation Center located at 14008 Holbrooks Road. There is no charge to attend.
