Dog trials help Huntersville pups put best paws forward

A dog festival and competition are on the horizon in Huntersville, putting the best sheepdogs to the test while helping attendees celebrate their favorite canines.

The Sheepdog Trials and Dog Festival will test the best and most athletic sheepdogs in a series of competitions and will feature the United States Border Collie Handlers’ Association. Dog adoptions will also be a prominent theme at the event, with rescue organizations helping furry friends find their forever homes.

The purpose of the festival is to display the skill and intelligence of sheepdogs as they work their way through challenges and competitions. Events will focus on each dog’s herding abilities, agility skills, and obedience. Spectators will watch the dogs maneuver through obstacles and follow commands from their owners.

The festival may be ideal for sports enthusiasts and animal lovers alike. Vendors and rescue organizations will be in attendance to provide more information to spectators and attendees. Promotional Products are an effective way for vendors to build bonds with attendees and target audience members at such events. The day will be capped off with the Next Top Dog Show.

Rural Hill is the place to be to witness the competition, which will be held on the weekend of November 2 and 3. Tickets start at $6 per attendee, and reservations are available online.
