A number of local wineries will soon be attending a festival intended to showcase their creations. Not only is this an excellent event for companies that wish to make their presence known, but it is also open to the public.
Known as the Molten Makerfaire, what was once a one-off gathering has transformed into a monthly interactive seminar. This event provides attendees with the opportunity to sample locally made wines, and a number of apple cider beverages will also be present. However, organizers claim that their main goal is to encourage vendors to interact with their audiences, and to develop solid connections across the community.
Although wine and cider are the main themes, a handful of other attractions are available. These include arts and crafts, housewares, and handmade products. Guests can also choose to participate in a handful of interactive workshops.
Events associated with small businesses will often ask vendors to promote their products as a means to increase attendee engagement. They could hand out Business Cards, offer onsite discounts, or provide vouchers that can be validated at a later date.
The Molten Makerfaire is scheduled to return to High Point on Sunday, July 19 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This event is being hosted by Nomad Wine Works located at 432 North Wrenn Street. No tickets are needed, and onsite purchases are encouraged.
