According to Jason Antis, vice president of the group, the company will invest at least $8m in real estate improvements, robotics, machinery, and equipment. It is projected to supply 43 new full-time jobs for area residents, including tool and die technicians, engineers, maintenance workers, and human resources specialists. Antis stated:
“This expansion not only reflects our long-term commitment to the community but also supports our mission to deliver high-quality, precision components to our customers.”
Local government support for this effort is provided by $100,000 in incentives from the City of High Point and is matched by an additional $57,824 from Guilford County. News of business expansion is often highlighted by banner printing or other services from Print shops.
Cascade Die Casting Group has been in operation since 1978 and is a major parts supplier to the automotive, powersports, and appliance industries. It is a privately held family business whose leaders are owners and/or operators. It was founded in 1958 by Ted Homan and has changed considerably through acquisitions, now operating three die casting operations and two precision component facilities.
The expansion will occur at two locations in High Point; one at 1800 Albertson Road and the other at 501 Thomasville Road. The growth will add to the current figure of around 120 jobs supplied by the employer.
