A High Point event is set to give local talents a chance to perform in a well-known show for their fellow community members.
Beetlejuice Jr. is a family-friendly take on the popular movie by Tim Burton, which was then adapted into a stage show with the story done by Larry Wilson and Michael McDowell. This version has a book written by Anthony King and Scott Brown, with lyrics and music put together by Eddie Perfect. The performance is done thanks to Music Theatre International via a special arrangement.
The show is being run by High Point Community Theatre. The organization’s goal is to provide the local area with chances to be a part of a production, as well as education and promotion of the arts.
There are two options for tickets to the show. These are adult and student tickets. The adult tickets are priced at $18, while the student tickets are $15. Purchases can be made on HPCT’s website.
The venue for all of the showings is the Centennial Station Arts Center. Many musical theatre productions use poster printing as one of the promotion techniques to draw in audiences. The show will run for 90 minutes, with the intermission factored in. The times and dates are 7:00pm on November 14th, 2:00pm and 7:00pm on November 15th, and 2:00pm on November 16th.
