Appalachian folk band to visit High Point

Fans of folk music throughout High Point have expressed interest in a live concert that has been confirmed from early September.

This band hails from nearby Asheville, and they have developed a loyal base of followers over the years.

Tina & Her Pony was originally formed in 2009 by singer and songwriter Tina Collins. Collins spent no fewer than two years in the high deserts of New Mexico perfecting her singing style, and since this time, she has become a prominent name across the folk music genre. She is also known for her powerful lyrics and the ability to play multiple instruments.

Tina & Her Pony have toured extensively throughout North America. This group has shared the stage with other well-known folk groups including Girlyman, Edie Carey, Dar Williams, Amanda Anne Platt & The Honeycutters, and Elephant Revival. Their latest album Champion was released in 2017 to positive reviews.

Organizers of live concerts often create balanced marketing campaigns to ensure they reach an equally balanced listener base. Some well-known methods include poster printing, reserving airtime on local radio stations, and creating branded Stationery to keep interested parties informed as the day of the event draws closer.

Tina & Her Pony will be visiting High Point on Saturday, September 12 at 7 PM. This concert is being hosted by Brown Truck Brewery located at 1234 North Main Street. There is no charge to attend and tickets are not necessary.
