High Point offers evening of new wave rock

An emerging rock band that has already made waves throughout the Southeast will soon to catering to High Point fans. While this Charleston-based group may already be familiar to some followers, they could represent a new experience for others.

Congress the Band has confirmed that they will be visiting High Point in early November. This group began its journey primarily catering to college crowds. After gaining a significant amount of momentum, they moved on to play in larger venues. This ultimately resulted in their first album titled Wasted While I'm Young being released in July 2026 after signing with Capitol Records.

Guests should expect a lineup of their most popular songs. Many of these have gained clout on streaming sites, such as Spotify. A handful include Wrap Around, Casanova, Push, Bay Street, Don't Let Me Down, and Out the Door.

Live performances by up-and-coming bands have been known to fall back on conservative marketing techniques known to produce money-saving results. Bulk flyer printing is one common example. Other approaches may include distributing branded Brochures, asking local radio stations to play relevant songs, and handing out playbills at the door.

Congress the Band will be performing for High Point fans on Wednesday, November 4th at 7 PM. This concert has been organized by COHAB.SPACE located at 1547 West English Road. Tickets cost $30 per person.
