High Point event offers unique view of local nature
A late July event is providing High Point residents with a special experience in a local and natural setting.
The 2025 Summer Sunrise Paddles is a guided trip through Oak Hollow Lake. Connor Ayers will lead participants around the beautiful scene on their kayaks. As a part of the experience, the group will get to witness the view of the sun rising up in the sky as the morning comes around. In order to participate, attendees must be a minimum age of 16.
Kayaks, which differ from canoes in that they are usually steered with a double-bladed paddle, are available to rent from Oak Hollow Marina. A tandem version is $22, while a single seater is $15. If anyone has their own kayak, they will incur an admission cost of just $6 for the activity. Registration is available through Amilia, via a link on Visit High Point. This must be done prior to the date of the activity. Taxes are waived on the ticket prices.
The tour offers an adventurous way to spend a summer morning for those who enjoy waking up early. The event will be taking place in High Point between 5:30 am and 7:30 am. Flyer printing is often selected as a promotion technique for events hosted by local organizations and businesses. The date will be Friday, July 25.
