What's Happening in Fayetteville, NC…

Fayetteville opens fall with golf classic

As Fayetteville moves into fall, its golfers will be taking to the links at a local course to offer a salute to the community's disabled veterans.

This year will mark the 2nd anniversary of the Golf-A-Ritaville Golf Classic, and Gates Four Golf and Country Club is proud to play host to the event. The fun will open with a luncheon mixer, and then the shotgun start will signal the beginning of play. It will follow a Captain’s Choice (also known as a scramble) format.

Every golfer who registers to play will receive practice range balls, and the use of a cart with a snack bag is also included. Beverage carts will be out on the course, and both closest to the pin and longest drive contests are in the works. Dinner will be served, and an even-split draw and the Flamingo Putt Challenge are on the agenda.

When organizing a golf-themed fundraiser, planners often choose suitable promotional products to utilize as swag. This can range from small items such as keychains and lanyards to T-shirts and performance shirts, visors, and jackets.

The 2nd annual Golf-A-Ritaville Golf Classic planned in support of the Warrior Bridge Program for Veterans will get into the swing of things on Friday, September 26. Tickets are $80 each, and sponsorship opportunities remain available at the time of writing.
