What's Happening in Fayetteville, NC…

Fayetteville families meet Santa in person

Fayetteville families are on the guest just for a special event that will bring an extra touch of magic to the winter holiday span.

Santa has saved some time in his schedule to serve as the guest of honor at the 82nd Airborne Division War Memorial Museum’s Operation Santa Visit. Admission will be free, and all are welcome.

The children that participate will be able to meet Santa in person, and while they do,their parents or guardians can snap lots of photos of the fun. Each child will receive a toy to take home. The fun will continue the next day, when the Museum will be all decked out for the season and will have exhibits showing how paratroopers and soldiers celebrated the holidays throughout the years. Anyone who has questions about accessibility or who would like to find out more can ask the Museum.

When organizing a holiday event, planners may be in the market for small items to use as “Santa presents" during an event. A printer can prepare customized corporate gifts to hand out, and there will be options available at many price points.

The Big Guy in Red is set to help celebrate the holiday season when he stops by the Museum on December 13th. It will be open from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Building C-6841 Ardennes Street at Fort Bragg.
