A “cheesy” event is fast approaching, and Fayetteville grilled cheese fans are on the guest list for this foodie friendly gathering.
Grilled cheese sandwiches will play a starring role in the upcoming festivities set for a Hope Mills venue. The charity of choice for the 2nd Annual Grilled Cheese Festival Fundraiser will be the Partnership for Children of Cumberland County, and all will be welcome.
Those who include the gathering in their plans will be able to sample their choice of the grilled cheese sandwiches that will be in the competition, and they can vote for their top choice. Local vendors will be showcasing their products in the pop-up market, and live entertainment will help build a festive atmosphere. There will be additional food trucks rolling in, and adults in the crowd can choose craft beer from the taproom’s selection.
To help make the function a true community celebration, the organizers are interested in hearing from any local makers or other vendors, as well as food truck operators, who feel the function will be a good fit for them.
