Fayetteville salutes dads with seafood feast

Fayetteville dads may want to loosen their belts before heading to an activity that will treat them to a seafood feast.

The 8th annual Father’s Day Weekend Crab Feast this month will feature all-you-can-eat blue crabs fresh from the pot. It will follow the tradition of a low country outdoor boil.

The celebration will give local dads a salute for all they do, and along with the blue crab, diners can choose a plate of fish and chips. There will be live music and other entertainment to keep the crowd’s energy levels high, and the feast will be family friendly. Everyone is welcome to bring their own sauce, butter, and seasoning so they can customize their meal.

Communities across the country will have fun on offer in honor of Father’s Day, and banner printing companies can lend a hand. They will be happy to supply décor that adds an extra festive touch to a special event, and both single-use and budget-friendly reusable styles are likely to be available.

The 8th annual Father's Day Weekend Crab Feast will bring food, friends, and fun to Fayetteville on Saturday, June 20, with slots available at 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm, each of them lasting two and a half hours. The John D Fuller Sr. Recreational/Athletic Complex will be the location for the festivities.
