A late January event is bringing a pair of rising performers to Missoula locals for a fun show.
Briscoe’s newest tour is headed to The Show Room. For the local performance, the pair will be joined by the act known as Wells Ferrari.
Briscoe is a duo of musicians who write and perform songs in the “folk-rock” genre. Truett Heintzelman and Philip Lupton formed the group in college, heading out on tour for their debut album right after graduation. Briscoe has drawn inspiration from places around the country when songwriting, making their works relatable to a broad audience.
Included in Briscoe’s discography are songs such as “Flashlights in the Canyon,” “Hooped Earrings,” “Sparrows,” “She Burns Away,” “Feelin’ It Again,” and “Hold On.”
Tickets are available through Etix. The cost will be $20 each until the show date. The price will increase to $22 at that time. Via Briscoe’s website, there is a VIP package with a $50 fee. A ticket must be purchased with this to see the concert, as event entry is not included.
The Missoula concert is being held on January 31st. Many musicians will hire a company that has a focus in graphic design before a tour to create new merchandise for the audiences to buy. The music is scheduled to start at 8:00pm, with the venue’s doors opening an hour prior, at 7:00pm.
