Country stars stop in Missoula

Two Grammy-nominated artists are on tour and will stop in Missoula next month.

Jelly Roll and Post Malone are the co-headliners of the BIG ASS Stadium Tour Part 2, which kicked off in Florida in April and will wrap up in Yokohama, Japan in October. The tour supports Malone’s latest album release, “F-1Trillion,” which dropped in August 2024. Country legends such as Hank Williams Jr., Tim McGraw, and Dolly Parton are featured on the album.

Malone has been nominated for 18 Grammys and is known for his ability to blend musical genres including rock, R&B, country, hip-hop, and pop. “F-1 Trillion” is a rare example of Malone concentrating on one genre.

Accompanying Malone on the tour is Jelly Roll, who has also gathered two Grammy nominations, one for “Best New Artist” and one for “Best Country Duo/Group Performance” for “Save Me,” which he performed with Lainey Wilson. He started his career in music in 2003 and broke through to mainstream audiences in 2022 with the singles “Son of a Sinner” and “Need a Favor.” He won three Country Music Awards with “Son of a Sinner”—Male Video of the Year, Male Breakthrough Video of the Year, and CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year.

The two stars will appear on Tuesday, July 21, at the Washington-Grizzly Stadium at the University of Montana in Missoula. Events like this benefit when they are publicized with the kind of advertisements organizers can create using poster printing.
