Rally plans to decorate skies

The morning skies in Billings will see a rally of balloons this summer.

The event, which was called the Big Sky International Balloon Rendezvous before, is now officially known as the Great Northwest Balloon Festival. It is recognized as Montana's biggest balloon rally and attracts people from both near and far away. If weather permits in the morning, there will be a mass ascension of hot air balloons. This guarantees a stunning sight with numerous colorful balloons floating against the backdrop of Montana's landscape.

The rally also has a Field Festival on Saturday evening. At this festival, there are many things to enjoy at this festival such as live music, food from trucks, face painting, and other activities for children. The evening ends with a balloon glow where tethered balloons light up from the inside and make an impressive display at night. This element of the event is very famous, attracting many people to come and see the shining balloons. Organizers can use flyer printing to spread the word about their events.

This rally provides an exceptional chance to see hot air balloons up close and also be part of many community events. Volunteer opportunities are available, allowing participants to assist with inflating and chasing balloons. Training is provided by the balloon pilots and crew chiefs, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for volunteers.

The Big Sky Balloon Rally will be happening over the skies of Billings from July 25th to 28th.
