Popular entertainers head to Billings for state fair
Kids and “kids at heart” alike will likely have something to celebrate in August when Billings hosts the state fair.
The MontanaFair is coming to Billings in mid-August, with many kinds of entertainment, competitive livestock shows, concerts, a rodeo, exhibits, and more. This nine-day event is a celebration of Montana's agricultural roots. Billed as the region's largest entertainment event, it attracts nearly a quarter of a million people each year.
Flo Rida is one of two nationally known entertainers to take the stage at the fair. This rapper will perform at the First Interstate Arena on August 8 at 7 PM; tickets for this performance start at $48. Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, a popular comedian many will recognize from his TV specials, will perform on the same stage on August 9, and tickets for his show also start at $48. The Pepsi Concert Series Pass is also available for those wishing to save money on multiple stage shows within the arena and is available for $79. Poster printing and similar printing services are great ways to advertise events like this.
General admission for MontanaFair is $12 for those 13 and over and $8 for children ages 6 to 12. Active duty military, retired veterans, first responders, and similar emergency workers can also enter at the $8 rate. Kids five and under enter free. Fair hours on August 8 are from 4 PM to midnight. On August 9-16, the grounds will be open from noon to midnight.
