Education-focused group IXL will be hosting a workshop to help students prepare for their upcoming SATs.
Founded by Paul Mishkin, IXL is an organization that puts together supplemental educational material for students who wish to give themselves a better chance of passing their exams. The workshop, limited to 25 participants, promises a personalized experience as they navigate IXL's assessment suite, curriculum, and analytics to address unique challenges in their classrooms.
Under the guidance of an experienced IXL Professional Learning Specialist, participants engage in an exchange of ideas with fellow educators from their community. The workshop aims to leave all attendees feeling challenged, rewarded, and equipped with newfound expertise.
Anticipated benefits for participants include the acquisition of valuable knowledge to use upon their return to schools. Complimentary breakfast, lunch, coffee, and exclusive IXL swag are provided for all participants to enhance their experience. Study-related items such as promotional Pens are often donated by sponsors interested in supporting education in the region.
Attendees are requested to take their own laptops along in order to engage in the interactive parts of the course. For those opting to pay via purchase order (PO), an email to ixllive@ixl.com with the relevant details is required. Parking is available at the DoubleTree Billings, and while efforts will be made to accommodate dietary restrictions, participants with specific requirements are encouraged to bring their own lunch.
The live course will be held on Thursday, March 21 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm at DoubleTree in Billings.
