The Montana in the World Market will focus on Montana’s role in global trade, covering industries such as agriculture, energy, and manufacturing. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from nationally recognized speakers, industry experts, and Montana-based firms about the evolving international trade landscape. The conference will also include discussions on trade and investment opportunities, recognition of Montana’s leading exporters, and meetings with consuls general from key trading partner nations.
The morning session, held at Big Sky Economic Development, will offer tactical training for Montana businesses engaged in international trade. Topics will include immigration visa considerations, export expansion strategies, and the use of digital platforms such as Amazon and Shopify to reach international markets. The general session in the afternoon will take place at the Northern Hotel, beginning with welcome remarks from Billings Mayor Bill Cole and an update on Montana’s global trade activity.
