This fall Fenner Festivals will celebrate the 50th Apple Butter Festival, which is an annual fall festival with a rich legacy in Lansing.
For 50 years, the Apple Butter Festival has served as a fundraiser for Fenner Conservancy, which is a 501(c)3 non-profit overseeing the Fenner Nature Center. The Fenner Nature Center connects the community with nature in their own backyard. Proceeds raised from donations will go towards supporting the Fenner Conservancy’s mission to educate the public about conservation efforts and stewardship of local lands.
The festival is expected to welcome over 4,000 attendees this year and will feature a variety of activities to keep the whole family entertained. There will be traditional fall activities like apple picking, hayrides, the crosscut saw, and apple butter stirring. Guests will be able to participate in autumnal crafts, and artisan demonstrations will be ongoing. There will also be local food trucks selling classic fall treats, with live music from local artists playing in the background.
Banners may feature prominently at festivals like this, especially those taking place outdoors. As such, organizers of said events may decide to visit local banner printing shops to prepare these decorations.
The Apple Butter Festival is scheduled for October 19 and October 20. It will be held at the Fenner Nature Center, located at 2020 East Mount Hope Avenue. There is no admission, although a $5 parking donation is suggested.Get a Free Quote for Banners
