A local resident who has called Lansing home for the last 80 years is set to become an octogenarian, and everyone is welcome to drop by and wish him a very happy birthday.
The copper beech tree that has become the center point of the MSU Radiology Healing Gardens will be marking its 80th year, and a special event has been planned in its honor. It will be for guests of all ages, and is free to attend.
The guests at the party will be surrounded by gardens that are in full bloom, and there will be live music playing in the rose area. Everyone can enjoy the family friendly games and other fun, and slices of birthday cake will be distributed. Dr. Mark DeLano, who is the Radiology Department Chair, will address the crowd, and more details will be released to the public as it date draws closer.
Special events may be planned around a central theme, and this may be carried over into everything from its decor to its personalized Invitations sent out to any VIP guests. A local printing services company will be happy to help, and can work with most budgets.
The MSU Radiology Healing Gardens will be wishing its copper beech many happy returns of the day on June 5th. The festivities are scheduled to start at 3:00 pm, and they will wrap up at 7:30 pm.
