Lansing schedules spring cleanup

Many hands make light work, which is why the organizers of a Lansing spring cleanup project are hoping for a great turnout.

Impression 5 Science Center has joined forces with the Lansing Board of Water and Light to give locals an opportunity to give back. The activity, which first took place back in 1994, will run for two and a half hours.

Those interested in lending a hand are asked to bring along a sturdy pair of work gloves to wear while they collect litter and debris and keep the river clean. After this, everyone will come together for a celebratory lunch, and there will also be an assortment of displays set up by a variety of local exhibitors.

To thank the participants for rolling up their sleeves and pitching in, they will each receive a complimentary water bottle. They can fill these Promotional Products at the tap on site.
