A homegrown musician will soon be returning to her Kalamazoo roots, and to significant fanfare. It has been announced that Megan Dooley is slated to perform for a local audience in August, and organizers expect a significant turnout.
Megan Dooley was born and raised in Kalamazoo. She began her career at an early age, and she now boasts more than 25 years of experience in the music industry. Some genres she covers include pop, folk, country, soul, jazz, and Americana. Dooley has also been called one of the best solo performers in Southwest Michigan.
Although she is known for her popular renditions of cover songs, Megan Dooley has also released several of her own tracks. These include Seven Below, Nothing But Trouble, and Too Many Times. Her album Live in Kalamazoo: From La Luna Recording and Sound was released in 2023.
Organizers of live music festivals will often rely on proven marketing techniques to keep the public informed. Common techniques can include flyer printing, placing Brochures in local clubs, and ensuring that the relevant songs are provided with plenty of airtime on nearby radio stations.
Megan Dooley will be returning to Kalamazoo on Friday, August 14th, and the concert is expected to begin at 6:30 PM. This event is being hosted by the Miller Auditorium located at 1341 Theatre Drive. Ticket prices have not yet been determined, and these will be made available in early August.
