Kalamazoo residents who enjoy live comedy are expected to attend a famous production slated to debut in May. This is a family-friendly show, and it is one of the most well-known productions of Mel Brooks.
Mel Brooks' The Producers tells the story of a Broadway producer who is down on his luck. After partnering with a rather dull accountant, they come up with the unique idea to create a play destined to fail. The ultimate intention is to swindle investors out of their money. What ensues is a veritable laugh riot, plenty of plot twists, and the type of humor that Mel Brooks fans have come to expect.
This play is being made possible by a collaboration with StudioCanal, and thanks to a partnership with Music Theatre International. All products used in the performances are also the proprietary property of MTI.
Live comedy events will often fall back on well-known marketing techniques that have been proven to resonate with the intended audience. Some traditional methods include brochure printing, creating one-of-a-kind playbills, and placing Posters in community centers.
Kalamazoo will be hosting The Producers between May 1st and May 17th. This show is taking place within the Kalamazoo Civic Center located at 329 South Park Street Ticket prices begin at $99 per person, and discounted rates are available for parties of 12 or more.
