There are many events slated to take place in Kalamazoo in June, and a massive art festival is certain to appeal to a wide audience.
The 75th Annual Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Fair is taking place in early June. Similar to previous years, this celebration has been designed to provide community artists with a means to better connect with the public. Organizers state that more than 145 creators will be attending, covering a broad range of categories. Artists can also compete for various awards including Student Artist of the Year, People's Choice Award, and a prize for the best ceramic display.
The Institute of Arts Fair is being sponsored by several Kalamazoo organizations. Blue Lake Public Radio, Adams, Consumers Energy, and WMUK National Public Radio are some examples.
Organizers of annual festivals tend to rely on advertising methods that proved their merit in the past. A handful of cost-effective methods include flyer printing, handing out Brochures as the event draws closer, and consulting with the artists themselves.
The 75th Annual Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Fair will be taking place on Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6. It is being hosted by the Kalamazoo Institute for Arts at 314 South Park Street. Doors open at 9:00 AM and close at 5:00 PM on both days. There is no charge to attend.
