Wireless radio hobbyists will soon be attending an event intended to provide the latest industry advancements, and to exchange equipment. This exposition is open to all enthusiasts, and all ages are welcome.
The 2026 Kalamazoo Hamfest offers numerous attractions. One reason why hammers often attend involves the ability to exchange QSO cards. Other aspects of this seminar include buying and selling radio parts, participating in on-site discussion forums, amateur radio license testing, and increasing the reach of the local ham radio community.
This event has been organized by the Southwest Michigan Amateur Radio Team in conjunction with the Kalamazoo Amateur Radio Club. Vendors who wish to sell their products are asked to complete an online registration form that can be downloaded as a PDF from the official Kalamazoo Hamfest website. This is equally applicable for those displaying vintage radio equipment more than 25 years old.
Expositions associated with niche industries can often represent effective on-site networking opportunities. For example, guests may exchange Business Cards, hand out Flyers containing their contact information, or offer products at one-time discounts. Organizers could also use this opportunity to distribute branded merchandise.
The 2026 Kalamazoo Hamfest is being held on Saturday, October 3rd from 9 AM to 3 PM. All events will be hosted by the Kalamazoo County Expo Center located at 2900 Lake Street. Adult admission is $8, and children under 12 can enter at no charge.
