Fun and healthy party set for Kalamazoo

The Family Health Center located in Kalamazoo will be holding is annual back-to-school bash this month, providing an enjoyable fair for children while promoting good health.

Amid the carnival atmosphere of concessions, games, live entertainment, and even bounce houses, attending children will receive a wellness exam so as to ensure that they are up to date with their immunizations. Children who attend will also receive a backpack filled with school supplies for the upcoming academic year.

According to the Family Health Center, it is anticipated that more than 1,800 children will attend and have an enjoyable day as they get everything they need for the upcoming year. It is most likely turning to various flyer printing companies to create Flyers and other media explaining the benefits of attending the bash and generating enthusiasm for it in the community.

The Family Health Center is a community-based health center serving some 70,000 historically underserved patients Kalamazoo County. These patients often suffer from several complex social issues and the healthcare professionals work to resolve these patients’ physical health issues along with their emotional and social wellbeing.

The back-to-school bash will be held this Friday, August 14 at 5:00 pm at the Family Health Center in Kalamazoo at 117 W. Patterson Street. Families can register there or at any one of the three other Family Health Centers in the city.
