Turkey Trot brings festive fitness to Grand Blanc
The annual Flint Elks Turkey Trot 5K Run or Walk returns to Grand Blanc this November.
It invites residents and visitors to celebrate the Thanksgiving season with an energetic community event. Held at the Flint Elks Golf Course, the race welcomes walkers and runners of all fitness levels for a morning of movement, camaraderie, and holiday cheer.
Participants will enjoy a scenic route weaving through the golf course’s gently sloping paths and tree-lined fairways. The event aims to blend fitness with festivity, offering an opportunity for families and friends to gather before the start of the holiday rush. Each registration includes chip timing with live results, a performance-style race shirt, finisher medals, and complimentary event photography. Age-group awards will also be given to top finishers.
Race organizers encourage early arrival for packet pick-up, which will take place at the venue on race morning from 8:00 am to 9:50 am. While jogging strollers are welcome, participants are reminded that pets, aside from certified service animals, are not permitted on the race path for safety reasons. Registration is priced at $45.
Event planners may consider banner printing as a practical way to highlight important sections of race locations such as this one.
The Turkey Trot starts at Flint Elks Golf Course, 7177 E. Maple Avenue, Grand Blanc, Michigan at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 22.
