Grand Blanc to host 11th annual dinner

Flint Bowmen will hold its 11th annual Genesis Fun Shoot and Chili Dinner this March. It will invite community members to an evening bringing together archery and food.

The public event is open to both members and non-members, and is designed to welcome archers of all skill levels, since instruction will be available for newcomers.

Attendees will have access to Genesis-brand bows supplied by the club and will shoot at bullseye targets set at 10 yards. Participants may bring personal arrows or use equipment available on site. Awards will be presented to the highest-scoring competitors.

In addition to target shooting, guests may take part in a chili dinner served at the clubhouse. Participation in the archery portion is optional, and individuals are welcome to attend solely for the meal and social gathering. Club representatives say the annual event provides an opportunity to introduce the sport to new audiences while offering returning participants a chance for friendly competition.

Organizers often rely on poster printing and other promotional materials to spread the word locally for events such as this.

Ticket pricing details can be found via the event listing. Interested attendees are encouraged to contact the hosting organization directly for admission costs and additional registration information.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at 5:00 pm at Flint Bowmen Inc., 5478 Belsay Road, Grand Blanc.
