Grand Blanc to showcase art fair

The Grand Blanc Arts Council will present its 26th Annual Summer Art Fair this August.

The event will continue a longstanding tradition of showcasing original artwork and handcrafted items from across Michigan and beyond. The juried event will feature a broad range of artistic disciplines, including woodwork, metal sculpture, painting, photography, glass, jewelry, and mixed media.

Set in downtown Grand Blanc, the two-day fair will offer attendees a family-friendly atmosphere complete with live music, a silent auction, and children’s creative stations. Amenities for both artists and guests include indoor restroom access, shaded booths, and food options. Exhibiting artists are selected based on originality and craftsmanship, with commercial or mass-produced goods strictly prohibited.

Applications for artists are due by July 1st. Booth costs are $150. A $15 price decrease is available for applications submitted by June 1st. Each application must include photographs of the artist's work and display booth. For additional information attendees can visit the event listing.

Poster printing may be used by artists to let patrons know about their booths at events such as this one.

The Grand Blanc Summer Art Fair will take place on August 2nd from 10 am to 5 pm and August 3rd from 10 am to 4 pm at Grand Blanc High School, 12500 Holly Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Parking and admissions are free.
