Spooky attraction returns to Commerce Township

The CarnEvil Halloween attraction will be launching a new edition in Commerce Township this fall, looking to provide a spooky experience for all ages.

The newly dubbed CarnEvil 2 will bring back favorite scares from past years as well as new experiences. The night walk will transform the paths of Glenlore Trails with illuminated displays, swinging skeletons, pop-up monsters and eerie sound and lighting. Visitors can also participate in games and activities as part of the “mysterious midway” on select nights.

The attraction is aimed at audiences of all ages, with earlier time slots more popular with families and young children. Later evenings have a lively atmosphere aimed at date nights and friend groups. Advertising for CarnEvil states:

“Located in Commerce Township, Michigan, Glenlore Trails is an immersive night walk where the forest comes alive every Thursday through Sunday with a dazzling blend of light, sound and interactive magic.”

The season will also feature a number of special events. The opening weekend will include live music by Full Tilt Boogie and activities like balloon twister and face painting. Other seasonal events include Jay’s Junior Night, 21+ Adult Night, and Trick or Treat, all leading up to Halloween Night itself. Seasonal attractions often use special events and roadside banner printing to attract visitors.

CarnEvil2 will run from September 18 to October 31 at Glenlore Trails in Commerce Township.
