The Inspiration Gala will return to the Commerce area this March, aiming to raise money for the Trail’s Edge Camp.
The gala event, the 6th annual edition of the fundraiser, will feature a dinner, live music, and drinks. Past year events have featured a specific theme, as with last year’s “Boogie Fever”, but this year will feature an open theme inviting visitors to dress in their best outfits, network, and of course hit the dance floor.
Money raised through ticket purchases will go towards the Trail’s Edge Camp, which presents a summer camp experience for ventilator-dependent children with disabilities from nearby areas like Commerce Township. The facility is located in Mayville, Michigan and includes a climbing tree house and lake activities, with support from the University of Michigan School of Engineering.
This year’s event aims to raise $70,000 to send up to 32 children to the specialized camp. Local businesses can also sponsor the gala to support the cause and have their brand represented. Charitable events often feature sponsors on banner printing and in presentations throughout the evening. The gala is the Camp’s largest annual fundraiser, assisted by other local events like the Probility Ann Arbor Marathon.
The 2026 edition of the Inspiration Gala will take place on the evening of March 21 in Ann Arbor at Venue by 4M.
